A big thank you to Alex Curlis for his efforts on our club display. We placed second in the public award for best display, something to be very proud of. It was awesome and even better to see peoples reactions of the 3 days of the show as they looked over our display stand. All the members should be proud of what they have achieved. Please hold onto your ping pong models as we will be doing some more displays later in the year at some other shows.
Also a big thanks you to all of the members who attended and helped out over the course of the weekend from day one to closing time. It is really appreciated and makes a real difference. All of us should be extra proud of the efforts and the fantastic show we put on.
Club meeting is in a weeks time at Ashburton, and we would love to see you all there. Bring your expo models and trophies to brag about.
Congrats to Les Applebee as well for winning the Ian Vale award. Well deserved.
