August Meeting - debrief

Thanks very much to all who attended the August club night. The usual banter was followed by an entertaining slideshow from Harry Margulies with pics from his recent trip to Israel.

Congratulations to Brian Thewlis who took out Model of the Month with his Zombie killing Bushmaster.

See you next meeting.

Club News July 2013

Well just back from model camp this year, and what a great weekend it was. 3 days, well almost, of nothing but building models. Heaven to most of us.
This year the camp was once again held at the YMCA - Lady Northcote Recreation Camp in Rowsley just out side Baccus Marsh.
18 members attended this year with a mix of old and new faces. The camp staff and facilities were once again fantastic with the club members wanting for nothing. The meals were both abundant and tasty, the accommodation clean and comfortable and the main hall, just fitting us in. It was a little more crowded than in the past as we had more members than ever in attendance.
All I can say is thanks to all who attended and made a memorable weekend.
A small photo essay is included after the text.

Club News
This Tuesday is meeting night, usual time but this month we will be in a different room inside the Library Facility. Just look for the security guy and the Blackwood room. Everything else will be business as normal.

Memberships: For those of you who have not paid up this year yet a reminder that fees are due. Contact Darren Winter to find out payment options.

Look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.
